Rochester, NY — November 29, 2011 — PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, has announced the Track Chairs for the 2012 AppForum, January 23–25 in Las Vegas. These five prominent digital print and direct marketing industry leaders will head the user-focused educational sessions at the heart of digital printing’s event of the year.
Leading Edge Applications Track – Chaired by Tony Hodgson, Director of Individua & PODi UK
From digital packaging to custom magazines and collateral management solutions - this is innovation at its best, and Tony Hodgson in his element. A veteran of digital print innovation, Mr. Hodgson has worked with pioneering UK service providers engaged in cross media, 1:1 digital print, web to print and e-commerce. He’s respected as an expert on technologies and trends and has presented at past AppForums and European conferences.
Cross Media in Action Track – Chaired by Mark Potter, Owner of CANVAS magazine
Exciting cross media case studies will be explored in these sessions by the marketers who created them for companies like Alcon Laboratories, Zodiac Pool Systems, Beauty Systems Group, Ford Motors & more. Mark, the former Vice President of Marketing for Unisource Worldwide, a $6 billion company, created CANVAS in 2007 and has led its growth into the most relevant and impactful vehicle in the industry for over 20,000 print sales and marketing professionals.
Cross Media Toolkit Track – Chaired by Debora Haskel, VP of Marketing for IWCO Direct
Track attendees will discover how to leverage cross media marketing tools and technologies, like QR codes, social media, innovative print, landing pages and automation, effectively in their own direct marketing campaigns. Ms. Haskel is a frequent contributor to Target Marketing and DMNews and has presented at industry events like National Postal Forum, DM Days NY and MAILCOM. She’s a key player in the direct marketing industry and joined us last year as Relevant Marketing Track Chair.
Digital Print Technologies Track – Chaired by Dan Adler, President DA Digital
Attendees will find the latest information on workflow automation, print on demand, advances in inkjet, cross media marketing platforms and website optimization in this track. Dan Adler has been an acknowledged leader in the industry for over 25 years. He’s built a successful business based on the intersection of digital hardware and laser technology, software, direct marketing response requirements and personalization across all channels.
Business Growth Strategies – Chaired by Kate Dunn, President of Digital Innovations Group (DIG)
This track focuses on successful digital printing business practices, including strategies for transitioning to a marketing services provider model, building partnerships, increasing sales and strengthening customer relationships. Kate Dunn is a powerhouse – running an award-winning marketing firm, consulting with transitioning service providers, perfecting training and techniques for solution sales. She is on faculty at University of Richmond and always leads the list for most popular AppForum speakers.
